She got up and waded through the creek, feeling her steps carefully over the creeks rocky uneven bottom. Suddenly there was a black blur and large splash as Axis bounded into the creek beside her, mouth open in his perpetual grin. Holland watched him fondly as he splashed water all over her and circled her as she went, certainly trying to cause an accident, it seemed. He made it to shore ahead of her and barked a few times, like he was telling her "you're welcome for the escort."
Holland shook her head with a smile and collected the candleweed. (WC 134)
