As Holland panned she glanced up as the hounds came back to the creek, apparently they were satisfied with their find and had come to lay in the shade near the creek. Something golden caught her eye as she watched them paw at their resting places. Was that ore? She got up to go investigate. When she reached the spot of color she realized it was just a mature candleweed growing between some grass and rocks. She gathered it and laid it carefully in her satchel and then sat back down by the creek. Maybe the hounds had the right idea and it was time for a rest. (WC 108)
