They made their way down onto the sand, and as they neared the waves, Ollie found a patch of more compact wet sand. Stooping down, he traced the images of Roadstead, Sunshower, Niblet and He's So Mice into the sand with a finger - sad approximations of the hounds, but when he looked up from his masterpiece, all four were gathered round, peering at what he was doing.
"Thanks for the support, guys," he said with a laugh, giving each of them a pat on the head. "Alright, enough of that, let's keep going, or we'll never find anything at this rate!"
