Azzaru

Azzaru is directly inland from Ynnis, sitting in rolling hills filled with minerals. Not long ago Azzaru was viewed as something of a frontier town, but because the mines in the region provide the mineral deposits that power the new steam carriages the city has become increasingly wealthy. 

Older buildings near the center of the city are primarily built of granite, but much of the city is now constructed of wood. Azzaru is booming, and immigration to the area is intense. Some seek their fortunes in the hills, while others look to eke out careers as merchants. 

The city is ruled over by a merchant’s guild that is actively looking to increase the size and prosperity of the city. They aim to rival the size of Ynnis itself within the next two decades.
