Trade Guild Guide

Membership in a Trade Guild is an important part of a life in Itona. Each guild has a different impact on over all gameplay, and offers a unique set of benefits. It is possibly to obtain membership in multiple trade guilds (even all of them, in fact!) but as the saying goes, jack of all trades, master of none ... There are six Trade Guilds currently operating in Itona, as described in broad strokes below. Membership in any Trade Guild allows access to their weekly Trade Guild meeting. Be aware that a player can only complete one Trade Guild meeting per week, no matter how many memberships they have.

 

Breeder - Provides various boosts to breeding and minor merchant boosts.
Trainer - Provides various boosts to training and minor showing boosts.
Fancier - Provides boosts to showing and minor breeding boosts.
Expeditioneer - Provides boosts to item generating tasks and minor training boosts.
Merchant - Provides boost to item and hound selling tasks and minor genotyping boosts.
Scientist - Provides genotyping related boosts and minor expedition boosts.

 

Breeders' Guild

Unlockable Breeder's Guild abilities are:

✦ Access to breeder guild task
✦ Increased chance at twins in litters
✦ Hound breeder’s recipe pack
✦ Chance to increase maximum litter size by 1 on each breeding
✦ Breeder Assessment task
✦ Increased loot from Hound sales to merchants
✦ Reduced inbreeding penalty
✦ +1 minimum puppy per litter

Trainers' Guild

Unlockable Trainer's Guild abilities are:

✦ Access to trainer guild task 
✦ Hound training recipe pack
✦ Increased chance to roll trainable moment events
Increased odds when taming strays & wilds
✦ Access to Trainer’s Classes
✦ Bonus to all show scores 
 Eliminate 1 requirement per training class.
+2 training per activity

Fanciers' Guild

Unlockable Fancier's Guild abilities are:

✦ Access to fancier guild task 
✦ Fancier’s grooming recipes
✦ Bonus to all show scores
✦ Ability to host shows
Reward requirements for breeding assessments reduced
✦ Increased chance at twins in litters
✦ Reduced show entry cost
✦ Large bonus to all show scores

Expeditioneers' Guild

Unlockable Expeditioneers' Guild abilities are:
✦ Access to expedition guild task 
✦ Expeditioner’s camping recipes
Chance to roll hunt events
 +1 roll on all explorations
✦ +1 turn on all expeditions
+1 training per activity
✦ Increased chance to encounter wilds & strays
 All expedition tickets are upgraded 1 level

Merchants' Guild

Unlockable Merchants' Guild abilities are:
✦ Access to merchant guild tasks
✦ Increased loot from Hound sales to merchants
✦ Increased chance at finding merchant crates
✦ Access to Merchant Train Ticket shop
✦ Merchant's crafting recipes
✦ Merchant's partial geno reveal recipe
✦ Access to Merchant’s Hound Market
✦ Increased chance to find cogs on all explorations

Scientists' Guild

Unlockable Scientists' Guild abilities are:
✦ Access to scientists' guild task
✦ Access to Ongoing Research prompt
✦ Scientists' Research Recipes
✦ Increased chance to roll rare plants variants on explorations
✦ Increased chance to roll a mutation in a litter
✦ +1 turn on all expeditions
✦ Scientists' Mutagenic recipes
✦ Scientists' geno reveal recipe

 

Improving Trade Guild Standing

Guild standing is improved by unlocking more abilities under the Skills & Trade Guild Standing tab on your kennel page. You will need to earn Trade Tokens in order to advance. Trade Tokens are earned from the weekly guild meeting prompt, and can also be earned in explorations, expeditions, fairs and other guild activities. Trade Guilds take a significant amount of time and effort to advance through!
