Explorations
Earning items and Itona's primary currency, cogs, is primarily accomplished through explorations. Each player can complete up to 3 of each area's explorations per day. Explorations generate rolls for each Hound that is included, and these rolls generate items. The vast majority of items can be sold back to the game, from your inventory, for cogs. Better trained Hounds generate more rolls during explorations, and more experienced handlers can take out more Hounds per exploration, further improving item yield.
Crafting
During some explorations you may discover recipes, which will allow you to craft various items. Many of these recipes will result in items worth more cogs than the raw ingredients were. These items can be sold back to the game from your inventory.
