How to Design

Range

Minimum | Maximum

Edges

 Hard | Soft

A Hound may show anywhere from the minimum to the maximum amount of alpine white. Minimum alpine white must be present on the tail tip and at least two feet. The white should present relatively evenly across the hound. White may be interrupted on the face, back of neck and underside with colour. Hounds may have up to one solid coloured leg sleeves and still exhibit maximum alpine white elsewhere. Edges may be hard or somewhat soft. Hounds with bob tail may not display white on the tail tip as it does not exist.

Examples

The hounds linked below are considered good examples of alpine white.
