Creep Hunting Training

Today was the day that Creep was set up to do his basic hunting training and it was starting to sprinkle. Kiki glanced up at the dark clouds narrowing her gaze into a glare. A shiver went down her spine as she clutched her coat closed.  Creep stood next to her stoically looking around before glacing back up to her. He didn't understand what they were waiting for Kiki had rushed them to get up and around to be ready and now they were standing in the doorway looking up at the sky. "It's going to ruin my hair" Kiki whined before shutting the door. "I think I have an umbrella in here somewhere." She began to frantically pull things from several places leaving a tornado like mess in her wake. Creep layed by the door leting out a long yawn before setting his head on his paws. Kiki reached her arm far back into the closet her fingers brushing up against the cool metal handle she knew to be what she was searching for. "aha!" she cheered pulling it out. "Okay we can go now" She gripped the leash with one hand tucking the umbrella under her arm as she pushed the door open. 

Once outside she hastily unfurlled the umbreall and held it with one hand wraping the leash in her other hand. Creep didn't understand why exactly she clutched the leash so tightly. He had never even atempted to run off. He huffed at the thought knowing it was surely Triggers fault the gir was so on edge. The two walked casually down the streets Kiki made it a point to avoid the puddles that were forming in the streets edges. Creeep verred away too, not wanting his beautiful coat to be muddied with the dirty rain water.  They walked like this for a while listening to the soft patter of the rain. "Oh I do hope training is not canceled on account of the wearther." Kiki fussed next to him Creep didn't bother to look up. 

As they aproached the training arena they were waved in by the fmilar looking face of the trainer. "In here in here!" The called from the doorway of a building next to the feild where the training would usually take place. The two ducked into the building and Kiki took the time to fold and shake off her umbrella. Looking around it seemd to be a simple building. Not much hung on the walls and the ground was mostly vacant except a few obsitcales from what apreaed to be some agility training. "Oh this is a nice little area" Kiki remarked looking around. The trainer gave a light hearted laugh and nodded in agreement. "As you know we usualy do our training outside in the feild out there and we will go out hter in a bit but I figured we would work on prey drive and do some scent work in here before we challenge him out in the rain. Kiki's smiled droped a bit at the thought of having to go back out into the rain. 

The trained stepped back to face the two before speaking. "Okay do I brought a duskrat decoy for us to work with today. First thing we have to do is get him invested and interested in it." She pulled out wat resembeled a duskrat on a line and held the stick that was attached to the line in her hand. She called creep over to her and he slowly padded over. She bobbed the line infront of him nd he insitcntivly grabbed it and started pulling. He was quite strong and the trainer had to steel herself as to not be knocked over.  "Great job!" she called to him and he realsed it. "Now im going to throw it a few times and let him sniff it out." She had Kiki put creep in a down stay facing away from wehre she threw the decoy. She then threw it into one of the obsticales that had littered the floor. " Nodding to Kiki the trainer stepepd back. "Arlight boy go get it!" With a flash Creep was off his lifiting his nose high in the air and sniffing. He bounded over to the obsitcales. He then dipped his head low to the ground to figure out which obstacle it had landed in. His eyes scanned them and he crouched low before pouncing on the decoy picking it up in his moth and giving a hard shake of his head. He bounced back over the where the two humans stood and was given reward pats on the head. "Good bot perfect job!" Kiki pariased the Trainer turner to her. "You have a natural born hunter here!" Creeps tail wagged at the praise. He was finally ready to hunt those pesky duskrats.
