Holland had been following the hounds for a few minutes when suddenly Queso excitedly ran over to something half covered in the sand. Axis quickly followed and there was some brief squabbling as they decided who got to examine the item first. By the time Holland came over Queso had it and was proudly prancing away from Axis in victory. Holland saw that Axis was about to dispute that and she grabbed it quickly when the hound came prancing by and found it disturbingly...fuzzy? She dropped it back into the sand and wiped her hands on her pants while Axis ran over to scoop it up before Queso could get it back. WC 112
Holland crawled from her tent after putting on warmer clothes. She'd been hot as she worked throughout the day but now that she was relaxing she was starting to feel the cooler weather. Queso and Axis bounded past her and flung themselves through the sand towards the ocean and after grabbing a pack Holland hurried to catch up with them. The last expedition had seen Axis and the others full of brambles and burrs, this one would see her tent full of sand and the smell of wet hound.
She caught up to the hounds and watched them splashing happily in the tide. Spotting a piece of nice looking kelp, Holland picked it up and added it to her pack. WC 120
